Cursor, the AI-native code editor, raised funds at a $400M+ valuation
Lovable hit $17M ARR in 90 days with real-time collab and chat-mode agents
What do they have in common?
They’re making product-building feel like jam with friends. Less Jira, more flow.
Why designers should care?
These aren’t just dev tools anymore. They blur the line between design, code, and planning.
Cursor lets you scaffold apps, describe flows, and refactor UI logic in plain English.
Lovable helps you wireframe, brief, and align—no Figma or Google Docs needed.
Windsurf, similar to Cursor, under OpenAI, could power a ChatGPT-style build workflow from idea to deploy.
Bottomline:
If you’re still handing off PNGs, you’re behind. These tools let you co-create, live, with AI.
So try them. Break them. Build side projects.

It isn’t even funny the number of earphones I have bought, tried and broken in my life. So when the world shifted to wireless earphones… I wasn’t exactly happy.
Tried to collect my thoughts on why I do not like wireless earphones and why I’m going back to the fun side.
Oddly this is the first article I’m posting on Medium since…. 2019. Long, long time.
